Dublin Bus
UCD is well served by public transport. Bus stops are located at the rear of the Sports Centre and the main terminus next to the Southerland Building. Stops are also located just outside campus gates at Roebuck Road, Clonskeagh Road, Fosters Avenue and the N11 (main entrance). Tram / LUAS
For those who use or want to use the Tram / LUAS to UCD use the transport for Ireland Journey Planner and Real Time information to get the best possible routes. There are two lines, Green and Red, which serve many areas of Central Dublin and some residential areas (mainly in the south and southwest of the city). Dublin rail map shows you the routes. The Green Line runs from Broombridge in North Dublin down to Bride's Glen in the south, via Central Dublin. The Red Line runs from the Point or Connolly Station in the CENTRAL Dublin to Saggart or Tallaght in southwest Dublin.

Cycling
Parking your bike in UCD:
There are over 4,000 bicycle parking spaces on campus. Click the button below to view a map. You can also get directions to any location on campus. There is secure bike lock up stations outside the Science East (behind the mural wall), complete with CCTV and fencing.
There are 1,600 bicycles for hire in Dublin. The bikes are available for hire at 115 location's across Dublin City, to encourage commuters and tourists to take a greener option. Bicycles are free to use for the first thirty minutes each time.

Parking in UCD
There is a carpark available at UCD (also knows as UCD car park N2). A number of parking spaces are designated as pay and display. These spaces have respective charges of €1 per hour and €2.20 per hour from 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, all year round. Parking is on a first come, first serve basis and demand exceeds supply at peak times. Please remember to consider alternative ways where possible to commute to UCD.
